I’ve heard of newspapers being asked to “dumb-down” the writing to appeal to a broader readership, but YIKES! I hope that’s not an indicator of what’s to come. If so, it won’t be long until we’re writing in rhyme: “Uranium was found in North Korea, officials said they had no idea. They’re sending an ambassador right away, before a big boom ruins everyone’s day.”
